block gtalk in Squid

I want to block gtalk in squid,

i have tried blocking ports but it didn't help.

hmm, sounds like you are using the wrong tool for the job.. squid might be able to do it, but a firewall is what you seem to be looking for, such as IPTABLES

okay,

is that possible to block this through pfsense

i've tried blocking the ports, talk.google.com, chatenabled.mail.google.com

but it jumps to www.google.com;80 or 443 which sounds difficult to block because we can't block port 80 and 443.

i don't want to use iptables, is there any other way to do this
