Bleachbit as root displays the following warning:
(bleachbit:14178): IBUS-WARNING **: The owner of /home/mike/.config/ibus/bus is not root!
Can someone please advise as to whether this indicates my system is compromised?
. . . New install Ubuntu 16.04 5/2/16
Also, unable to run upgrade from 15.10 to 16.04 LTS via wan as installer aborted, claiming my drive lacked enough free space. Yet there was almost nothing there; just a few files and some pics, etc.
By checking and unchecking the various sections/actions in Bleachbit, have you figured out which of the cleaning actions is actually generating the error?
No; the advisory comes up on terminal as soon as sudo login is done. So far nothing occurs to me as to the source of the advisory.
But will stand on John VV's comment and not worry.
Thanks to hydrurga and John VV for the help.
. . . Now there is a new issue, which I will describe via a new post.
Ok, no problem. Just info though that I don't get that warning message, despite often running Bleachbit 1.10 as root on Linux Mint 17.3 and having the directory mentioned in the message owned by myself, not root.
