blackbox-save session

How do I get to save the session in blackbox, to save my settings? I always have to re-add gkrellm, bbtime bbkeys and stuff ... after I restart the computer. And it's getting kind of irritating.
pls help me

You need to edit your ~/.xinitrc file. I haven't used bbkeys or bbtime, but for gkrellm, you just put 'gkrellm -w &' in .xinitrc on the line above 'exec /path/to/blackbox'. The commands for bbtime and bbkeys are probably similar, without the -w that you use for gkrellm. I use Fluxbox and I tried fbdesk for a while and that's how it worked. It's a little counterintuitive, but the apps that you want to run IN the window manager must be started BEFORE the window manager.

Enjoy!

I'm pretty new to fluxbox, but I think you can accomplish this by putting it in your ~/.fluxbox/init file

example:

session.screen0.rootCommand: gkrellm -w

someone correct me if i am wrong...

I could try it later today to see if that works.
