Blackbox or Fluxbox
I started off as a big enlightenment fan but when it comes to linux im a Slackware fan as well and with E gone since 10.1 I figured it was time to find something else instead of just compiling E. I tried wmaker for a while but it got boring and fast. I am thinking of trying blackbox or fluxbox but I am unable to decide right now. Any major differences that stand out? Do people generaly preffer one over the other? Thanks.

on the site, it lists some differences.

I like fluxbox, but for what I use, I can't tell too much of a difference, but you can dock stuff in the toolbar in flux, but not blackbox. I'm using flux right now. It makes my old slow computer fast. :P

When deciding to switch from KDE I first tried Blackbox. I liked the speed and simplicity, but I quickly found my way to Fluxbox instead. It's basically the same but has some extra configurable options (I think), the slit for docking apps as superchar42 mentioned, 100% compaible with Blackbox themes and styles, and it supports KDE apps (as long as the required libs are available). There's more on Fluxbox's site.
