blackbox menus don't update

I'm using Mandrake 9.1 on a PIII Celeron with 128MB RAM. Everything is onboard.

I installed blackbox and was testing some window managers, and blackbox is definitely the favorite. Although, I noticed while using the Mandrake Menu Config, every time I edited an entry in the menu it didn't update in blackbox, although it does update it in gnome. I was able at one time to update the menus with the menu editor. I didn't do anything special/any installations at all, so that's not an option.

I also tried update-menus, but that came to no help.

That's pretty much the problem.. I can go into etc/X11/blackbox/blackbox-menu and upating it manually, but that's very time consuming.

That's black box. I always copied the blackbox menu into my home/.blackbox directory and then tweaked it with no problems.

Ouch :\
There's no auto-menu updating? Why was it working with the mandrake menu editor thing before hand then? Just weird to me I guess. It just kind of randomly stopped working with it
