Blackbox fast, fluxbox really sloooow

I have a Debian etch installation, currently running fluxbox. Yesterday, I decided to install blackbox just to see if all the stuff they say on the blackbox site about speed and performance are true. Well they are. Now on to my question. I cold booted my computer and ran blackbox at startx. It started in 3 seconds. I rebooted my computer and ran fluxbox. It started in 20 seconds. Why is this?

My theme that I am using for fluxbox is really light and as far as I know, there are no plug-ins installed. I even got rid of the taskbar or whatever that is in hopes of making fluxbox faster. Blackbox is fresh from the basic debian installation. No special changes to anything.

Sounds like a special case, something hanging up maybe.

If fluxbox on any of my computers took longer than 3-4 seconds to load, let alone 20, I wouldn't use it either...
