first...how do i exist x from the command line..(sorry..but i'm kinda of a to linux..) )..
and..do those commands only start blackbox.....or after i do that..blackbox will appear in the login window at start up?..cause i need to know how to make blackbox or something else appear in the login window so that i can select it at startup
He there, I have had the same prob. with my fluxbox. I got that fixed. But I dont remember how. I will find out how I did it and post a nother reply. Sorry for not being helpfull now.
You can exit X by pressing cntr-alt-F[x] with x a number between 1 and 6. You will get command line prompt where you can log in. Then do what the other guy's have told you
Hello there.
Edit the file "/opt/kde/share/config/kdm/kdmrc". You will see a line like
"SessionTypes=kde,windowmaker,fvwm2,mwm,twm,fluxbox,failsafe". Put a blackbox entry in there and you are done.
I assume you have KDM as your login manager. I also have suse 7.3 and I have KDM so unless you changed somthing you sould have that as well.
Bey .
so.. when i was about to get that thing working out..my computer crashed... actually..my monitor..or something... so i'd better get to the hardware forum)) ... thanx anyway.. i'll try that as soon as i'll get it working
