Bittorrent++ ugly

I used to use bt++ in windows and today I installed it in RH9.
The problem is that's ugly. It refresh the window very slowly and there is no buttons (temp, history, etc..) like in windows.
I want to know if its like this or is there something wrong?
Another thing... i'm very newbie on linux.... how do I see how much space i have in my partition?
I tryed df
and it appeared:
Sistema de Arquivo 1K-blocos Usad Dispon. Uso%Montado em
/dev/hda3 18223964 2588016 14710204 15% /
/dev/hda2 101089 9275 86595 10% /boot
none 240764 0 240764 0% /dev/shm

But this numbers never change! I created a 700-mega file and after i deleted it but the numbers didnt change. Whats going on?

Thanks
Roberto
