BitTorrent problem; unsubscriptable object?

I posted this in the newbie forum first but I now realized that this would perhaps be a more suitable place for it:
I have, mostly thanks to the knowledgable Electronkz, managed to install bittorrent and got it to work, almost. The program starts as it should but after i've select a folder for the contents of the torrent to be downloaded into i get this message:

BitTorrent T-0.3.7 (BItTornado)
OS: linux2
Python version: 2.3.4 (#2, Aug 19 2004, 15:49:40)
[GCC 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux (Alpha 3.4.1-3mdk)]
wxWindows version: wxWindows 2.4.0

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/BitTornado-CVS/btdownloadgui.py" , line 1351 , in advanced
self.downrateSpinner.SetValue(self.config['max_download_rate'])
TypeError: unsubscriptable object

Can anyone make any sense of this?

I'm also new with bittorrent.

I can't answer your question siince I don't use bittornado, but I suggest you try a different client for bittorrent and see if you'll still receive that error.

I recommend azureus, been using it since I got my DSL.

Hope you solve your problem coz there are a lot of torrents to be downloaded out there
