Hey guys,
I saw there are allready a few posts about bit torrent but none that helped me out.
I'm using RH9 and Mozilla 1.5. I have followed the intallation steps from a webstie. but i still cant download torrent files. I want to use the gui!!!
when I click on the link i get an error or a ascii page. and if I use right mouse click --> save target as... I just get the torrent file but not on the right torrent download way.
Can somebody please help me out here

i had a problem that seemed very similar to this, what i did was after you have saved the file to your home directory or where ever, right click and choose open with then type btdownloadgui.py and click okay, this fixed it for me. hope this is helpful.

Can you do a search and show what .rpms u have installed that have the word "bittorrent" in the name?
My mandrake 9.2 r2 had the gui for an older bittorrent, so when i installed the newest bittorrent it wouldnt work....went back to the corresponding bittorrent .rpm that goes with the gui i already had.

download the torrent's data file which you want to download and find the data right click on it and open with bittorrent GUI and it will ask where to save the file.when you right clicked you will see the bittorrent's icon.thats it!
