bit pim running like trash

before the grand format my bitpim ran somewhat properly. after the format bit pim started running like trash. it freezes the whole system, and then says that the "phone has stopped responding" to it. i had learned a bit about the settings on the phone, but it still has done nothing for the issue of the program hanging the system.

i had changed the baud rate on the phone to 115000, as i had found a post saying that the phones speed needs to be the same as the programs. every time the phone gets disconnected it's device number goes up one. right now it says the phone is "usb::003::026::2"

i dont know what the deal is, the software is just really really really slow. my windows laptop has the verizon software on it, and the verizon software can load a full 2 cds onto the phone in the time bit pim takes to load 1 mp3.

the grand question of this post is how to edit out all the other phones bit pim trys to detect from so i can have it look for JUST my phone.

well ive hammered out a majority of my bit pim issues. the usb 2.0 via controler card is not as friendly as the onboard usb in my machine to my phone. i found out to enable mp3's on my vx8300 i need to insert a folder on the mmc named /mmc1/Music and in that folder i need to insert a playlist named "AllMyMusic.m3u" and that file contains this

Code:
#guid=cb72e3f0-3bfa-11dd-0000-000080f17043
#changeflag=1
and that enables mp3s so long as they are not 256 kbps, it takes standard 44100 128 kbps mp3s =D
