Bird Box Web Cam

Hi Team,

I have a web-cam in a nest-box in the garden. When using Windows It used to run great using the free version of "Debut" or the supplied "Arc software". I have not tried to run the cam for a while but when I first dabbled with Linux last spring I could not get anything to as much as recognise the device.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Pozzouk.

If it doesn't work in Cheese, try it with guvcview; it should be in the repos. If you don't get it working with either one of those, post the make and model of the device.

I have a cheapie creative web cam and wxcam works for me. Its a little dated looking but has always worked for me.
