BIOS upgrade anyone?

Anybody run a BIOS upgrade on Linux?
I have Fedora, need PCI upgrade to 2.2 for accursed wlan card.
Dell box, only stuff I've found on Dell site is bin in *.exe format. Of course they tell you to use a bootable floppy.
I've got A08, latest is A13.
