Is it possible to have more than one version of the binutils installed at once and what would be the method? Tnx!

Check to see if the package for binutils has a compile flag to tell it where to install all the utilities. If so you could probably install them all into a special instruction and just make sure your path is right for the tools you want to use.

OK, like you can do with the C libs then. I will try it that way and see how it works. It's just for one install compatibility issue so I can set the path back afterwards. Thanks for the advice!
