Bigsister Hell: My rrdtool graphs aren't working

I want to monitor a few linux boxes over the web. The only tool I've found is Bigsister which works reasonably well despite it's extreme hideousness.

There is a neato graphing function for the stats which uses a perl-sodden RRDTOOL tool. This isn't working.

I get this error when restarting Bigsister:

Monitor bsmon: Thu May 11 11:20:21 2006: bsmon: RRDTool's perl module is not present - not using perl bindings

I can test rrdtool and it works fine. It seems to me Bigsister either doesn't know where rrdtool is or can't talk to it.

Any help or suggestions for an alternative monitoring program would be appreciated.
