"Bible Time" text does not display in this program

Hello, my name is Rory and I am a total Linux newbie. Lot of experience in Windoze, but can't seem to make Linux stick in my head.

I have installed "Bible Time" to my Ubuntu 13.04 desktop and all seems to have gone well, except the text of the Bible flashed in its box and then disapears and will not display no matter what options I have tried???

Anyone know how to correct this?

I appreciate any help.

Thanks, Rory

What version of Bible Time are you using? If you are using a Beta version you might want to back off to the previous stable version.
