p.s. isn't XFCE a DE not a WM technically?
EDIT: and I'm blind cos it's not listed either

Three words: "simplicity" and "total control". That's what makes fvwm2 beautiful.

fluxbox can hold its own against most DEs too!

I'm surprised Enlightenment isn't more popular than that. Personally I love having little spoons and whistles to configure... and things to impress Windows users with, of course.

I have seen that fluxbox is very popular, but is there an option in Fluxbox to increase the size of the taskbar.. it's way too small, I like it a little bigger...

And are there any configuration tool for modifying theme's ???

Any comments appreciated..

I tried icewm , xfce, fluxbox,..and finally..
i got it ...the best window manager i ve ever seen ..sure ..it is Enlightenment.

I love it.

FVWM rocks and is you like a great look of fvwm by default, install FVWM-crystal theme (which is not actually only a theme but a kind of alien, something between a theme and a WM itself, based on fvwm).
Try it - it's damn easy to install and you won't regret it
