Best way to upgrade RH 9 to Gnome 2.2
I'm running RH 9.0 and very happy with it, however I would like to upgrade to Gnome 2.2. I want to do this in as 'clean' a way as possible, without destroying my carefully selected settings or breaking my system. Prefereably I would like to use RPMs to upgrade. Is there any simple way to manage this?

you said you are running RH9...it comes with gnome 2.2 afaik.
At least that is what is listed on rehat.com red hat 9 package list. |
Yes,
go to ximian web site...download "red carpet" and it will take care of your upgrade Hope that helps.... |
Eh? BigNate is right. RH9 comes with Gnome 2.2.

Doh. You are right, it does come with gnome 2.2. I could have sworn that gnome 2.2 was not released until several weeks after RH 9 , but oh well. Sorry.
