Best way to play windows games..


So i use Lubuntu 14.04 LTS and i want to play windows games. So wine.. How to use wine? And on how big reselution will game be? My pc screen is 1280x1024.
The games is ContinuesLY, Continues and the static speaks my name (strange i know:|) and some Fps game. I know there is steam but my pc kinda don't want to open it properly.. Open 640x480 screen and it is transparent..

The "best" way is dual boot or in a Virtual Machine.

Oh, I quite disagree. Wine isn't as good as dual-booting, but it's MUCH better than a virtual machine.

You should be using either PlayOnLinux or the very latest version of Wine (1.7.54 today). Also, be aware that the quality of your experience will depend heavily on your graphics hardware and drivers. NVidia Geforce cards with current binary drivers, or very recent Intel chipsets, should give you at least as good an experience as on Windows. Other cards/drivers, not so much.

The best way to play Windows games is to run Windows. Every other solution is a compromise that may work well sometimes...
