steep learning curve

This can be true for systems that you are supposed to use in a productive way, when your productivity is measured, in a way, by someone who is not yourself.
I have a lot to learn in vim and a lot to never learn, too. Everything I master with this editor I learned the moment that I needed a new function. So, most of the time, “no learning curve at all”. I like quite a few such, -what-, “systems”, things, which allow you to work, then, later, allow you to progress. If you want. That is.
