Best system monitoring software
I recently decided to install Arch linux on my gaming computer so I wont have to deal with windows being a pain anymore. So far everything is going smothly but I cant find any system monitoring software that I like. On windows I was using msi afterburners graphs which had everthing I wanted on it. Is there any system monitoring software that can tell me GPU, CPU, and RAM usage on an easy to read graph? everything I can find on google is either missing gpu usage or is not in a graph format.

Have you tried conky?

We have no idea what you "found at Google" and we all realize the value at https://wiki.archlinux.org/
What does https://wiki.archlinux.org/ offer? Show some effort, what have you tried? gkrellm is shiny enough and basic. Conky has no built in graphs as installed, unless you cheat and use Conky Manager or some thing, or modify code your own after install. Some people have shiny LUA scripts with their conkys, but you only need an "easy to read graph" so gkrellm is my advice. Have a good day. |
I don't think gkrellm has gpu information on it unless there is a plugin or something that I didn't see. I can get everything I need on conky, so i'll see what I can do with that. I really liked being able to fill an entire monitor with graphs so I can easly see were my bottle neck is, but it's worth it if I don't have to use windows anymore.

Conky is the de facto answer, but requires motivation and perspiration ;)
I went for "easy" since you seemed "new. conky rocks. Other people's conkys really rock, but I could get those to work, so I wound up doing it myself. A little obsessively, too. so I retired. Have Fun! |
