Best program for viewing disk usage?


Hey guys,
whats the best program to view my disk usage. I m searching a GUI for the "df" program. That would be perfect. And it shouldnt be a gnome/kde program. I didnt find anything with google =(

KDE comes with the info center ( under system ). It has two options, the one you probably want is storage devices. Theres also KDirStat for more info.

(i dont wanna install gnome or kde stuff)
but thanks...maybe itll help others

Sorry read shouldnt as should. ( apostrophes are important : ) )

Try XDiskUsage should do everthing you need.

crap ! it doesnt shows how much disk space is left...
=(
Any other program you could suggest?

Sure does .... here at least.

All you need to do is click one of the mountpoints,
and in the stats it displays there's a section called

FREE :}

hm..yeah. but if it takes half an hour to read the disk.. =( its faster to type "df -h"

It's faster to use the commandline in
99% of the times mate, you've asked
for a graphical interface ;)

On my system gkrellm is the third chubbiest
application, right after X and Mozilla, fatter
than my windowmanager :}

Sometimes I wonder whether it makes ANY
sense at all ... 6.6MB memory usage for that
info? ;)
