Best method to upgrade HDD of RH Linux 6.0 (lilo boot)

My linux mail server is running with bigfoot 4 GB HDD. we are supposed to clear log and mails on daily basis due to poor disk space.

Pls suggest best and simple method to upgrade my harddisk from 4 GB to 40GB. Pls help me!

noorul; is it possible to install 40 along with 4? enough space for both in bays? if yes then do so then use 40 as main hdd & 4 as swap or storage.
ghost copy 4 to 40 to save data.

Yes, but currectly I am running my OS on 4GB, will the lilo boot loader will work properly in 40Gb after ghost? do I need to reload lilo? if yes, please guide me the commands please.

Will the linux refer to 4gb for system files after ghost?

completely (there are many pages) with detail information. those first sections crucial in acquiring knowledge on linux intricacies. I have learned with that information among others. be patient, take time, read any & all
that you can comprehend, try not to go to far in advance, too much to do & lots of pitfalls. just be careful, methodical,slowly u will get there as most of
us did!
