Best Linux Freeware for Burning DVD Images
I am currently downloading the DVD iso's of Debian on my Ubuntu machine, and I am wondering what software would be good to be able to mount and burn those images to DVD's.

I would have just downloaded the 150Mb Debian Netinstall.iso and installed from that..
Downloading all the DVD's for Debian is overkill imho, unless you are doing a machine that is offline,
I would also use K3B, it;s pretty nice.

1. You do not need to 'mount' an iso to burn it.
2. If you are installing to the same machine, then it suffices to use a usb boot or a small boot image. You can point to the downloaded dvd image in your hard disk

cdrecord, cdrdao or growisofs
Anything else is just a front end to those anyway. There are reasons for DVD images. Offline, slow dialup connection, only connected away from home through wifi hotspots and other reasons. And you never know when someone's gonna pull the plug on the internet (or something). Or you're just a peace corps type going around setting up solar powered computers in the middle of Africa. Or just your local LUG having an install fest.

Thanks for the help guys. And I am not installing Debian on the same machine, I am burning them so I can reformat a machine running Windows to install a fresh Debian.
