I'm a fan of Code::Blocks and Code::Lite. You may also want to give Eclipse a spin.

You may want to take a look at CodeBlocks, CodeLite both active, multi platform, open source and very powerful(integrated dbg support and many many others). Also eclipse package dedicated for c,c++ programming for linux could suits your needs.
Code:

I posted a similar question on another site about a year ago. The votes were massively in favour of Netbeans and Code::blocks.

I prefer Kate with the embedded terminal at the bottom so you can call commands and test thing right away without many windows. It's more an editor+terminal, but it still offer some basic auto completion and features.

The most Advanced Native C++ IDE is KDevelop4, it worth trying, but it have never been fully stable for me. It have more advanced autocompletion and features than any other IDE at the exception of Eclipse. But I never liked Eclipse, it's slow and designed for Java, not C++. On OSX and Windows, I use Code::Blocks.
