Best eMule client for linux

Hi all,

I was wondering which of the possibly many eMule client is best in your opinion. I would think that the aim of the program is, to be as simmilar to eMule as possible. One thing is very important, the integrity with the web browser, it should automatically intercept ed2k links.

Currently I'm using xMule v1.61, and while the integrity with the browser exists, this progs has one huge disadventage. It isn't stable. After it runs for a couple of hours, it simply freezes, and you have to restart, the whole program, probably losing all data that was currently in downloading(if it still downloads), and positions in queue. We all know that when it comes to eMule, the longer it runs, the better, hence this is unacceptable.

What are other eMule clients for linux?? Plz, write a short description.

All the a-,x-,lmules aren't too stable in my experience.Mldonkey always worked stable for me but I dunno about the ed2k links. For a description go to google type mldonkey and follow links.

Yeah, xmule is evil. With me, it can simply close for no apparent reason  . Still, of all *mule around, xmule is the only one that I got to work, so, those programs are not only buggy but also nasty to install :p. You could always try the real edonkey2000 client:

http://www.edonkey2000.com/downloads.php

it's a Linux port there and a graphical interface, easy to get going by the way :)

The problem with the official client is that it only works with overnet and that isn't exactly hot at the moment. It is rock solid though.
