Smile Best DVD burning software for Linpus™ Linux®

Hi y'all, I'm getting a new notebook soon that will have Linpus™ Linux® OS installed. I want to install windows 8.1 because I ain't familiar with linux. I've already downloaded Windows 8.1 pro ISO file.

So, I want to make a bootable DVD, just like the guy in this video ------> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxIZa25bVXI
or like in this tutorial ------> http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials...ows-8-iso.html

...but IMGburn isnt available for linux OS. I cant use Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool on linux OS as well.

My question is : How to make a bootable Windows 8.1 DVD on Linpus Linux ?

Hi,

unlike windows most linux distributions come with cd/dvd burning software already installed. You should be able to do it directly from the file manager (eg right click on the the icon representing the iso file and select "burn" or similar). Post back if you have trouble.

Evo2.

PS. I guess you weren't familiar with windows either at some stage... why did you choose to use it?

xfburn, k3b, and many others duplicate CD/DVD media disk burning. Have fun.
