best burning program?


Slackware 10.2.0 Kernel 2.6.13 KDE 3.4.3
Sony Dual Layer DVD-RW
What would be the best burning program for my system for backing up my game dvd's and cd's.

K3B is a good choice, you will have to get it from:
ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwar...re-10.2/extra/

And install it by using
Code:
installpkg packagename.tgz

i'll second that. I've been using k3b for awhile and haven't found a free program like it for windows.

I see the files I want, one is a .tgz (no surprise there) and one is a tgz.asc what is the .asc ?

Its a text file that contains various info about the main package (the one ending in *.tgz).

Also note that Nero has a Linux version ready for download that's also pretty good.
