Beside K3B, Is there another DVD Burning Software I could use?
Hi To whom it may concern:
K3B DVD burning not working propertly with Plextor DVD Burner.
Is there another DVD Burning software I could use on Suse?

K3b ( Which is what I think you meant ) uses the command line tools to actually do the recording, so if it's not working most of the others won't either.
What's probably wrong is the permissions, theres usually a program called K3b setup in the System menu. Try using that to fix the permissions.

Do you have ide-scsi on. i.e. do you have ide-scsi=/dev/hdc or similar on your kernel options. If so take it off as with a 2.6 kernel Linux will use the atapi interface.
This is how I got this error when I upgraded from 2.4

I'm using K3b 0.11.22cvs (Using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" suse9.3)
I do not have the feature K3b setup in my program menu anymore
How do I go back too K3b setup feature?
Sorry about the previous forum, I may have said the wrong Device ...because
I just went into Setup Devices and It tell me its a TDK DVDRW840G
System Device name /dev/sr1 (1,1,0)
interface Type Generic SCSI
Sorry about that, Leon... its Generic SCSI

I was able to resolved myself by un-installing the entire K3B application 0.11.22 version or rpm
and
Reinstalling k3b-0.12.2-1.guru.suse93.kde34.i686.rpm
reinstall k3b-lame-0.12.2-1.guru.suse93.kde34.i686.rpm
reinstall k3b-mad-0.12.2-1.guru.suse93.kde34.i686.rpm
