Whenever I launch beryl-manager it launches the manager but when I select the window manager to beryl the screen flashes for a bit and then reverts back to normal but the emerald options are grayed out. I'm trying to run Beryl on Ubuntu 7.04.

Are you sure you have installed all of the appropriate packages? Those errors would indicate that emerald and beryl-settings are missing. You need more than just the core Beryl package to get everything working properly.

I'm aware and Synaptic says that both emerald and beryl-settings are both installed. I tried clearing everything and reinstalling from Synaptic and that cleared up other problems I was having but gave me this one.
