beep-media player?


Can I use all the skins and plugins from my xmms install?
I would like to switch to gtk2 player.

bmp supports winamp 3 skina too yes. doubt all the plugins would work though, depends how indepth they are.

Thanks.I'll hold off for now.
The skins I am not worried about....just the input,effects and general plugins xmms uses.

That lists more plugins that I'd ever use, and many of them are ports of the xmms equivalents.

Just tried BMP.It seems to not save all preferances when closed,doesnt stay on top when "always on top" is ticked,and quits randomly everytime I use it.
Doesn't have many effects plugins
