Beagle ot Kat Desktop search tool

Hi all,
I want to know which of the following desktop search tools is more fast and efficient. Its either Beagle or Kat?
And I saw in FC5 that Beagle only works in user mode only.......
but for Kat no restriction either user or root.

Thanks In Advance,
Sailaja Bhandaru

Beagle works in user mode because it only tries to search the user's own files.
