Basic Calculator & Doodle/Note/Scratch-Pad

Does anyone know of any software that encompases a basic calculator (does not have to do scientific, just basic functions) that comes combined with a scratchpad (notepad + doodle pad (basic mouse drawing)).

A benefit would also include a spell checker, but that is probably pushing my luck

I basically want something in which I can jot notes either by typing or crappy freehand drawing with the mouse, but with a calculator built in.

any ideas?

xpaint for the freehand, gcalctool for the calculator, and mousepad for the note thingie. Or you could use Gedit, but Mousepad is much faster. Or you could use KWrite/Kate if you have KDE.

Sadly, I don't think that there's any app, other than the GIMP which is waay too heavy-weight for this, that can export images to text. (If that's what you wanted)

I wasn't looking to export images as text, just looking for a very basic paint (crayons would do :P), notepad and calc, preferably as an all in one. Looks like I will have to use seperates.
