basic alternative to k3b

hello, i need to be able to back up data to dvd, and ive been trying to install k3b, however, for k3b to work, it requires various libraries (including KDE libraries), which is unnecessary to me, as i run the ice window manager, and dont have KDE installed. i know that k3b is just a front-end to the actual programs which do the work, and i was wondering if there was a more basic gui front-end than k3b which doesnt require KDE libraries, but which would be easier to use than the commandline?

Have you tried gnomebaker? I like that alot better than K3B. To install this you will need gnome libraries installed.

Xcdroast. It requires no additional graphics libraries, but you will need to have the backends (cdrtools, cdparanoia, etc.) installed.

thanks for your replys :)

Eckstona, i would like to use a frontend which doesnt require any such libraries to work, i dont know wether this possible?.
aquaboogie90, i tried 'xcdroast', but i dont like having to obtain a key for it, and i read the details on the xcdroast website and it says the key (although free for educational purposes) will only work untill mid 2007, also it gives me a message when i use it that i need to install 'proDVD' support to write dvd disks, so im not to keen on xcdroast.
