Question Bandwith Monitoring Tools per User

Hello,

I've searched this a lot but I couldn't have any idea about what to do in my case.

I want to track all the bandwith which is used by a user or IP. My users are connecting Internet wirelessly using their smart phones or laptops. First they connect to a Cisco Access Point and this access point is contolled by a Cisco Wireless Controller. I am using Web authentication in this controller and authenticate everybody with Active Directory credentials using a Windows Radius Server. After a user authenticates, he/she are connecting Internet via a Peplink Router. This router or the wireless controller doesn't give me not much information about the user bandwith. I want to see the bandwith used by per user or at least per IP so I can create reports every week to our management team. Basically our management team wants to know how much their staff spend on Internet within our working hours.

How can I track my users? Can I have some suggestions?
I can put a monitoring server between the wireless controller and peplink router thus I can get all the bandwith information but what kind of monitoring tool should I use to get the best result do you think? I was checking ntopng, bandwithd etc. but I got lost

Thanks in advance.

DP

There's some good tools here http://www.tecmint.com/command-line-...x-performance/ and/or http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/top-li...ing-tools.html.
Note that although that page shows a GUI interpretation, most also have a non-interactive option, suitable for automation.
