bandwidth usage logger

i am looking for a bandwidth calculator or usage logger...... im not sure wut it's called. my skool restricts our bandwidth usage and i was just recently put in the penalty box. id really like something that'll tell how much ive used per day or something along those lines. how much ive downloaded and uploaded that day... is there anything available?

hey thanks this loks like wut im looking for. have u, or has anyone, used this. im having a difficult time getting this to work. im not making /etc/mrtg.cfg correctly. one of the lines i need is

Target [~] port:community@router
for example Target[ezwf]: 2: public@wellfleet-fddi.ethz.ch

wut i want is to monitor my own computer's traffic, all ports. would b router b the gateway? and wut about community, my ip?

if anyone has a config file they could let me look at that'd b great. thanks.

jesus...... y do we have smilies. that 2: p above should not have a space.... it turns it into a smiley i dunno how to turn that off
