Bandwidth limiting

Hi, i'm using mandrake 9.2, and i want to limit my bandwidth, what program can you recommend me? it'll be great if it can allocate maximum upload/download speed for each process, or something elwse of the sort. if not, overall upload and/or download speed limiting is good too
thanks!

Check out Trickle. It can be used by non-root users to control specific streams, or can be set to run as a daemon to control specific programs (ftp, mozilla, wget, scp, etc.).

Enjoy!
