Bandwidth consumption monitoring tool
Hi Admin,
I have a question, Is it possible to get the logs who/which user/employee is consuming bandwidth uploading/downloading data from internet. I have searched a lot, but still no luck. So, Please help me . I am assigned to do this.

It's a bit hard to believe that you 'searched a lot', since just putting "linux bandwidth monitoring software" into Google pulls up 795,000 hits, with this being the first hit:
http://dynacont.net/documentation/li...rk_monitoring/
...which has NUMEROUS pieces of software on it.

I have tried, i need bandwidth consumption form our network from employee, like tracking the url and downloading usage perticularly.

Right...posting the same question a second time won't get you any different answers. Did you read about ANY of the pieces of software you were handed???? There are SEVERAL on that list that do exactly what you're after.
Since you now mention web pages, then you are also looking for both a proxy server, and a tool to report on proxy/web usage. Web usage does NOT equal bandwidth....that is only one part of how much bandwidth a user takes up. The squid proxy server is the 'standard' for Linux, and there are many reporting tools for it that exist. Check Squid's website, and you can also look up quite a few.
