Bad Video on Some Channels in MythTV

I had a fully-functional MythTV set up on my desktop, running Ubuntu Karmic. Since Karmic is no longer supported, I did a fresh install of Ubuntu Oneric and MythTV 0.24.0 +fixes. The installs went fairly smoothly, but I am having video problems on some OTA TV channels.

The system hardware consists of a quad-core, 64-bit AMD processor and two HD HomeRun dual tuners. As I said, the system was fully functional, and none of the hardware was touched in any way, but now some of the TV channels have a purple comb in front of the image. All of the TV channels look fine when viewed with the HD Homerun configuration GUI.

I have posted this question on the MythTVTalk forum, but have received no responses.

Any advice?

I get the feeling it is video driver.

I guess you should boot to a live usb with some other OS to try to replicate it?

I hope you don't mean channel 2 Mytv out of Fredericksburg. Their signal is up an down all the time.

I just can't see how one channel is OK and not another?

Other idea is to power off either HD.

Could be I guess the format? Fox 7 is 720.

Are the bad ones in some way common?

What was the last firmware on the HD. I think one of them was funky.
