bad media error on 2nd CD during installation

I have been trying to install red hat 7.1. I downloaded the iso image files and burned the cds. The installation proceeds smoothly until it starts installing rpms from the second cd. Some rpms get installed and then one of the rpms ( it is different everytime i have tried) during installation stops with a bad media error.

there is no way to skip the file and i have to reset and restart installation all over gain. I have tried downloading another iso image and burning a new cd and it did not help.

any pointers to solve this will be appreciated.
