bacula: volume size

Dear all

I just installed bacula on a gentoo distribution. As backup device I am using a external USB drive. I ran a first test -- the backup process itself seems to work.

Bacula produces only volumes of 4 GB size. How can I increase this ?

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root bacula 4.0G Oct 9 22:12 Full-0001
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root bacula 4.0G Oct 9 22:29 Full-0002

I set maximum volume size for the pool to 50 GB ( Maximum Volume Bytes = 50G). This however does not change anything.

I would appreciate some hints or leads ...

Thanks
Tilman

In pool define

Maximum Volume Bytes = 10g

Perform an update volumes command in bconsole after changing
