Bacula: Unable establish connection with file daemon (locally)

Hi All,

I'm just started to use linux not long ago.. Now i'm trying
to get bacula work on my pc, but the problem i'm facing now was
the connection problem for the file daemon.

I've tried to telnet the port 9102 and the error is connection refused.
I just do it locally, so there shouldn't be any firewall.

Beside, i got another error here:

root@mypc:/etc/bacula# bacula-dir -t -c /etc/bacula/bacula-fd.conf
02-Jun 10:37 bacula-dir: ERROR TERMINATION at dird_conf.c:1254
queryfile item is required in director resource, but not found.

root@mypc:/etc/bacula# netstat -alnp | grep 9102
tcp 0 0* LISTEN 4963/bacula-fd

ps: i've comment out the ip in bacula-fd.conf.

Kindly advice...

I managed to solve it..

Hi all,

Thank you all (no matter you want to help me or not),
i managed to make it run without binding the localhost.
All i do was just work around at the fd pid file and restart the
file daemon service...sounds
