Backup: we have MULTICD for linux ; is there MULTIDVD?

The program for making backup is fairly nice, giving lot of options

Is there an alternative for DVD, it would be MULTIDVD, for linux?

You shouldn't need a separate app to do that. For MultiCD, just read the documentation.

The sample configuration file has the following line;

"cd_size = 650M"

Find your configuration file, and change it to something more DVD-like, if you're using single-layer DVDs, maybe this;

"cd_size = 4G"

For Dual-Layers, you might try this;

"cd_size = 8G"

NOTE: if you want to know if a particular DVD-R is single or dual-layers, check the package that the media came in. The capacity is usually printed in English as "4.7GB" or "8GB".

Btw, Texas, seems that once one get there, if one move out, one miss Texas. is that due to the beauty of Texas?

Ah, Texas is very beautiful, and even the cities are nice. But if you leave Texas, you start to miss the food, the people, and the weapons. Everyone here is armed with at least pepper-spray. Most carry firearms.

It *really* keeps the burglaries down. And I've never been mugged here in the almost two decades I've lived down here.
