What email app do you use? For Thunderbiird e.g. there's afolder in your home directory called .thunderbird/somethingrandom/mail inside which all your mail is stored. If you make a backup of that folder (or of any specific subfolder related to a specific account you wish to secure) you have a perfect backup of all your emails. If you need to restore the backup files, you simply need to copy them back into the original folder.

Thankz linmix!

I go to stimulate all the users to use thunderbird.

When thunderbird creates a folder Sents, in the server, and I to use the protocol imap.

When the user to erase the email the same will be deletado of the server?

I don't use Thunderbird for any imap account, but I believe it does.
