Backspace at Telnet Login not working. ^H
 
Hi,

Just curious to know how to fix the backspace issue at the telnet prompt:

Code:
CentOS release 5.3 (Final)
Kernel 2.6.18-128.el5 on an i686
login: asdad^H^H^H
It is OK once I am logged, just not sure how to fix it at the "Username/Logging" in bit.

What's probably causing it is a term incompatibility, you can use ctrl-u to clear the line typically even if backspace/delete isn't correctly functioning. Check the terminal type you're using.
