Azureus wont start --Eror


Hi,

hope u can help me, Im really getting mad about this ...

When starting azureus, follwing error is displayed:

Thats it. i really dont know how to fix this...

Am using fedora core 1 and the newest j2re is installed.
One more thing:
Im trying o start azureus over a telnet session, coz its a server, may this be the reason?

First off, you should edit azureus to give it the correct path to your java executable (/usr/java/j2re1.4.2_04/bin/). That way, you won't see the warning about it looking for java.

Secondly, you won't be able to start it over telnet (which you shouldn't be using anyway, use ssh instead) because azureus is a GRAPHICAL bittorrent client, not just a server, which requires an X-window environment.

hmm, okay then,
but do you know any commandline clients for linux which are easy to install and that work properly???

Already tried out original BT client and snark, but i didnt get them to work (Linux Newb :-D )
