Azureus problem - undefined symbol: pango_renderer_set_color

I am running slackware 9 and am trying to get azureus (a bitTorrent client) running. I have installed the following packages in order to fix previous errors:

jre1.5.0_06
gtk+2-2.6.10
and upgraded to x11-6.9.0 (which now seems to be called Xorg)

Finally after all of that, I am still getting yet another error.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /home/drkstr/temp/azureus/libswt-pi-gtk-3139.so: /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: pango_renderer_set_color

I'm sure the problem is coming from upgrading to the version of X used in slackware 10.2, without upgrading some other dependency it needs. Does anyone have any idea on what else needs to be upgraded to fully support x11-6.9? Or does anyone know why pango_renderer_set_color is undefined? Any help would be greatly apretiated.

thanks! ...drkstr

Do you have the pango library installed?
