Azureus: opening ports.

The last time when I was in Fedora Core 4, I opened up the security & firewall application. I then added a port and saved it.

I then closed the firewall & security window.

Later when I try to open the Linux security & firewall application, it doesn't. It never opened again.

I want to know how I could fix this problem.

Many thanks in advance,

Chuong.

Try running it on a command line (as root), and see what error you are getting. Have you applied maintenance (is all your software up to date)?

I got the port to open yesterday but now it's not working. . .I didn't need to turn off my firewall either.

It's weird...

...when I disable my firewall and tried the NAT test, it said port number is "OK!".

Then when I enable the firewall (without restart Azureus) with the port number, it still says OK!.

Then when I restart the Azureus, it says "NAT error!" when I tested it again.

Something's wrong with this...

Sometimes I get a NAT error when I start Azureus, but some time later it's OK.
