awstats logg trouble.

Hello. i have been runing awstats for quite some time now and someting happend. At the first on this month i have abour 3K visitors to one of my websites, then next day and yesterday the stats show only 100 & 210 visitors, however google analytics shows that my stats for the last 3 days are 3K, 2.8K and and 3,2K visitors. What has happend to awstats ? why is it not showing the correct stats ? i have not done any server changes in the last 3 days other then updating awstats trough apt-get install awstats, after that the trouble started.
