autostarting raid array

I have a software raid5 configuration and working fine, the only thing is that the raid array /dev/md0. In the /etc/raidtab I have the persistent-superblock 1 line and the drives configured with fd. The only probelm is that it is not starting on reboot, I have to run raidstart manually each time.

I think you may not have recreated the initrd when setting up raid..u will need to re-compile the initial ram disk with support for raid/lvm modules so that the configuration is loaded during system startup..

yeah I have, everything is compiled correctly. I did not have the mount in the fstab to mount the array. I was trying to test without but when I added the mount in the fstab it starts up perfect now.
